ABOUT THE ROLE Join our team as an LSA/FFA Vessel Coordinator, in Life‑Saving Appliances (LSA) and Fire‑Fighting Appliances (FFA) services. This pivotal role requires arranging inspections, servicing, and testing of marine safety equipment while ensuring compliance with regulatory and class requirements. You will play a key role in coordinating with clients and internal teams, preparing service scopes and quotations, and managing documentation and certification. Flexibility is essential, as this role involves short‑notice travel to vessels and shipyards, as well as potential extended stays onboard vessels while managing critical marine safety operations. This is a full‑time role based in Singapore.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute LSA/FFA inspection, servicing, testing, and maintenance inquiries received every day in accordance with SOLAS, IMO, Flag, and Class requirements.
  • Servicing arrangements for lifeboats, rescue boats, davits, winches, fire extinguishers, SCBA, EEBD, fire detection and alarm systems, and related equipment.
  • Coordinate with clients, ship staff, surveyors, and internal teams during inspections and servicing.
  • Ensure proper completion of service reports, certificates, checklists, and job documentation to the client.
  • Support preparation of quotations and technical scope for LSA/FFA services.
  • Ensure adherence to company HSE policies, risk assessments, and permit‑to‑work systems.
  • Assist during audits, inspections, and Class/Flag surveys.
  • Complete follow up from submitting inquiry till finishing the purchase order awarded.
  • Maintain professional communication and ethical standards in client interactions and official correspondence.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Main Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of SOLAS, IMO, Flag State, and Classification Society regulations, with practical knowledge of lifeboats, davits, fire‑fighting equipment, SCBA, EEBD, and related marine safety systems.
  • Strong communication skills in English and coordination skills.
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience.
  • Flexibility to coordinate services based on operational needs and vessel schedules.
  • Basic knowledge of tracking sheets, Microsoft Office, and invoicing procedures.
