Who are we?

At memoryBlue, we’re more than just a sales development consultancy — we’re a launching pad for high-tech sales careers. Founded in 2002, we help high-growth B2B technology companies accelerate pipeline and revenue through outsourced sales development. With offices across North America and Europe, and a global team of 300+ professionals, we support innovative startups and global tech leaders alike.

Our mission is twofold:

  • Deliver exceptional results for our clients through qualified pipeline generation and outbound sales development
  • Build top-tier sales talent by providing training, mentorship, and long-term career growth

We’ve proudly supported some of the world’s most respected tech brands and continue to cultivate a culture built on curiosity, grit, and growth.

Why this role exists

As memoryBlue continues to scale, our systems need to evolve with us. This is a senior role combining architecture, hands‑on technical leadership and platform ownership. This role is responsible for how our systems are designed, built, and scaled. You will lead the team that runs our core GTM systems (Salesforce and integrations), while setting the standards, structure, and roadmap that ensure everything works together cleanly.

In practice, that means:

  • Leading solution design and making key architectural decisions
  • Defining development standards, best practices and platform guardrails
  • Remaining hands‑on where needed with complex builds, Apex, LWC and integrations
  • Partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Delivery stakeholders to ensure platform solutions reflect how the business actually operates
  • Reducing rework, tech debt, and system friction.

Key Responsibilities (How you create impact)

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead and develop a team of Salesforce and GTM systems specialists, owning team delivery, prioritisation, and individual growth
  • Drive sprint planning, backlog management, and capacity planning to ensure the team delivers against both strategic initiatives and day-to-day platform support
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for senior leadership, translating complex architectural decisions into clear business terms

System Architecture & Platform Strategy

  • Own the Salesforce architecture across our GTM tech stack, defining solution designs, integration patterns, and platform standards that ensure scalability and long-term maintainability
  • Lead architectural decision-making and provide hands-on guidance to the team throughout delivery — reviewing builds, identifying issues early, and iterating on solutions where needed
  • Ensure systems operate as a connected ecosystem across Salesforce and the broader GTM toolset.
  • Stay current with the Salesforce roadmap and pragmatically incorporate new capabilities into the platform strategy

Deployment, SDLC & Integrations

  • Design and implement a deployment process and CI/CD pipeline, establishing version control, release management, and testing standards across the team
  • Own end-to-end delivery across the full SDLC — from requirements and solution design through build, testing (unit, integration, UAT), release, and post-deployment support
  • Build and maintain integrations via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms such as n8n and Zapier
  • Define standards for data structure, quality, and consistency, and establish monitoring and failure recovery processes across integrated systems

Security, Compliance & Governance

  • Own Salesforce security model (access, permissions, sharing)
  • Ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements (GDPR, data handling)
  • Define practical governance around data, audits, and retention
  • Partner with IT and leadership on broader security posture and risk management

Key Measures of Success

  • Platform Scalability: Systems support growth without increasing complexity or tech debt
  • System Reliability: Integrations operate consistently with minimal disruption
  • Delivery Predictability: Roadmap initiatives delivered on time with measurable impact
  • Data Integrity: High-quality, trusted data across all GTM systems
  • Security & Compliance: Security and compliance standards are consistently met
  • Team Effectiveness: High-performing team with clear ownership and accountability

What Makes Someone Successful in This Role

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Architect or in a senior Salesforce delivery role, with a track record of owning complex, end-to-end implementations
  • Strong commercial awareness - understands how systems support revenue generation
  • Ability to balance long-term thinking with day-to-day execution
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders and client-facing teams
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels, with the credibility to earn trust from both technical teams and senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams — setting direction, managing delivery, and developing people
  • Curious and forward-looking, with a focus on automation, AI, and scalability

Experience & Qualifications

  • 7+ years in Salesforce and GTM systems architecture
  • Salesforce Architect certification (Application/System Architect preferred)
  • Deep technical expertise across Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and the Salesforce security and sharing model
  • Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes using tooling such as Gearset, Copado, or Salesforce DX
  • Experience designing API-led integrations between Salesforce and downstream systems using modern integration patterns and middleware tools
  • Strong understanding of security, compliance (GDPR), and governance
  • Background in consulting, high-growth B2B, or fast-paced commercial environments
  • Exposure to cloud platforms, data storage, or data warehousing
  • Experience with vendor evaluation, platform strategy, or system migrations
