Why this role exists
As memoryBlue continues to scale, our systems need to evolve with us. We are looking for a Head of Systems Architecture to own how our GTM systems are designed, integrated, and scaled across the business. This role will ensure our technology ecosystem supports how our teams market, sell, and deliver — efficiently, reliably, and at scale.
You will lead the architecture and operating model for our core GTM systems, with a primary focus on Salesforce and related integrations. This is a high-impact leadership role with visibility across the business and the opportunity to shape the future of our systems strategy. Your one goal: build systems that make it easier for our teams to work smarter, faster, and more effectively.
This role offers a competitive base salary in the range of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum.
What you will own
- Delivery leadership & operating model
- Lead and develop managers responsible for Salesforce Admins and GTM systems specialists
- Own agile delivery processes, including Jira workflows, sprint planning, prioritisation, and delivery standards
- Partner with Operations to maintain a clear, capacity-aware roadmap balancing BAU support and strategic projects
- Establish and maintain SLAs, escalation processes, and quality benchmarks
- Ensure system documentation is clear, practical, and consistently maintained
- Systems architecture & platform strategy
- Own the architecture of Salesforce and the broader GTM tech stack
- Define scalable design standards across Flows, Apex, integrations, and platform configuration
- Ensure systems work as one connected ecosystem rather than siloed tools
- Lead solution design decisions and provide technical direction to internal teams
- Integrations, data & reliability
- Define the integration strategy across systems, APIs, middleware, and data flows
- Set standards for data quality, structure, and consistency
- Establish monitoring, alerting, and recovery processes to improve reliability
- Partner with IT on platform performance, storage, backup, and resilience
- Security, compliance & governance
- Own the Salesforce security model including access, permissions, and sharing frameworks
- Ensure systems meet client, internal, and regulatory compliance requirements, including GDPR
- Define governance standards around data audits, retention, and risk management
- Partner with IT and leadership on broader security and compliance initiatives
- Stakeholder & business partnership
- Partner with Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Delivery leaders to translate business needs into scalable system solutions
- Provide technical leadership in internal and client-facing discussions when required
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve workflows, automation, and user experience
- Help ensure systems genuinely support commercial performance and client delivery
What success looks like in this role
- Systems scale with business growth without creating unnecessary complexity
- Salesforce and integrations are reliable, efficient, and easy to use
- Roadmap initiatives are delivered predictably and with measurable impact
- Teams trust the data and use it to make decisions
- Security, governance, and compliance standards are consistently met
- Your team is high-performing, empowered, and accountable
What we are looking for
Must-haves
- 7+ years’ experience in Salesforce architecture, GTM systems, or enterprise systems leadership
- Deep Salesforce platform expertise, including architecture and integrations
- Proven experience designing scalable system solutions across sales and marketing environments
- Strong knowledge of APIs, middleware, and data flow architecture
- Experience establishing governance, security, and compliance frameworks
- Strong leadership experience, with the ability to develop teams and improve delivery standards
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and simplify complex technical concepts
Nice-to-haves
- Salesforce Architect certification (Application / System Architect preferred)
- Experience in high-growth, consulting, or fast-paced environments
- Exposure to cloud platforms, data warehousing, or storage strategy
- Experience with system migrations, vendor selection, or platform transformation
- Interest in AI, automation, and future-proofing GTM systems
Why work with us?
- You’ll have real ownership of our GTM systems architecture and strategy
- You’ll play a critical role in enabling growth across the business
- You’ll work closely with senior leadership and influence company-wide decisions
- You’ll lead and shape a team that has direct impact on how we operate
