Interventional Endocrinologist

Hollywood, Florida

Memorial’s Center for Integrative Endocrine Surgery is seeking a BE/BC Endocrinologist with experience and clinical interest in neck sonography to join its team as an interventional endocrinologist. The selected physician will have the support of an experienced, multidisciplinary team of interventional endocrinologists, endocrine surgeons, advanced practice providers, and other clinicians. The successful candidate will share outpatient and inpatient responsibilities and call coverage for endocrine surgery related issues.

Candidates with a passion for teaching in an academic medical setting are encouraged to apply. Our endocrinologists and surgeons collaborate in treatment planning and interact on a daily basis during combined office hours and multidisciplinary case conferences. The interventional endocrinologists perform high-resolution neck ultrasonography (including lymph node mapping), ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration, and both ethanol and radiofrequency ablation. At present, the team performs approximately 800 endocrine surgeries and thousands of neck ultrasounds annually across multiple Memorial facilities.

This is a full-time employed position with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
