We are seeking a Junior Designer to join our expanding design team, focusing on denim, casualwear, and wovens. This role suits a creative and driven designer with a minimum of two years’ experience in a supplier environment, working with the UK fashion market. Reporting to the Senior Designer, you will work closely with suppliers and factories to develop commercial, trend-led collections from initial concept through to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of denim, casual, and woven ranges for UK high street and online customers
- Produce CADs, technical sketches, and design packs for sampling and production
- Research trends, fabrics, washes, and trims relevant to the UK market
- Liaise with overseas suppliers and factories to develop styles and samples
- Review samples and assist with fit, wash, and construction comments
- Help build commercially focused ranges aligned with customer briefs and price points
- Maintain design files, trackers, and support the critical path
About You
- At least 2 years’ experience in a junior design role
- Experience within a supplier or manufacturing environment
- Strong awareness of the UK fashion market
- Good knowledge of denim, including washes, fits, and finishes, plus casual and woven garments
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to meet deadlines
- Confident communicator with a proactive, positive approach
- Experience working with UK high street or online retailers
- Basic understanding of garment construction and fittings
