Full-time | Permanent | Home-based (UK) + event travel circa. £40K salary + uncapped OTE

Memcom helps membership organisations grow, connect and thrive; commercial partnerships are a big part of how we do it. We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to lead on growth initiatives and manage key sponsorship and partner relationships. This is a hands-on, autonomous role where you’ll own the full partnership lifecycle, from prospecting and pitching through to delivery, renewal and growth. Working closely with our Executive Director, Commercial & Partnerships, you’ll shape how Memcom works with sponsors and ensure our members and partners see real, measurable value.

What you’ll do:

  • Win new sponsorships and commercial partnerships
  • Build and manage a strong, active pipeline, including for our recruitment team
  • Lead partnership proposals, contracts and negotiations
  • Act as the main contact for sponsors and partners
  • Deliver high-quality partner experiences across events and campaigns
  • Track performance, report results and identify growth opportunities
  • Attend industry and Memcom events (mainly London-based)

About you:

  • Proven experience in sponsorship, partnerships, business development or account management
  • Confident managing relationships and working independently
  • Commercially minded, organised and proactive
  • Strong communicator with a positive, resilient mindset
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and managing pipelines
  • Happy to travel for events and meetings
