A leading professional membership organisation (healthcare) is looking for a dedicated Membership Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in enhancing the membership experience and driving engagement.

About the Role

As Membership Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the membership journey, ensuring smooth administration, effective communication, and outstanding service delivery. You will lead a small team, manage renewals and recruitment strategies, and maintain high-quality member data to support business growth. A key part of the role will be contributing to a CRM transformation project, ensuring successful implementation and embedding best practices for membership operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end membership process, including renewals, engagement, and recruitment.
  • Oversee the implementation of new CRM systems and ensure accurate and efficient data management.
  • Develop and deliver effective membership retention strategies.
  • Work collaboratively across teams to enhance member benefits and engagement.
  • Provide leadership to the membership team (2), ensuring high-quality customer service.
  • Produce reports and insights on membership trends and data to inform strategic decisions.

About You:

  • Proven experience in a membership management role, ideally within a professional association or similar organisation.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Experience working with CRM systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365) and data reporting.
  • A detail-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, Direct Debit processes, and financial compliance is an advantage.
