Overview
Marketing & Communications Executive (Maternity Cover)
Location: Hybrid – 1–2 days per week in London, remainder remote
Contract: Part-time (3 or 4 flex days/week), FTC – 12 months
The World Nuclear Transport Institute (WNTI) brings together organisations involved in the safe and secure transport of nuclear and radioactive materials worldwide. These materials underpin many aspects of everyday life – from clean, low-carbon power generation to vital medical treatments and diagnostics. WNTI supports this global community through collaboration, advocacy, and knowledge-sharing, ensuring that the benefits of these essential materials can be delivered safely and reliably wherever they are needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage and update the WNTI website (WordPress).
- Produce and distribute the monthly member newsletter.
- Grow and maintain WNTI’s LinkedIn presence.
- Design simple graphics and visuals using Canva (or similar).
- Create clear, engaging content in line with WNTI’s brand.
- Support promotion of events, webinars and workshops.
- Monitor engagement and ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
About You
We are open to candidates with either proven experience in marketing or communications, or a forward-thinking graduate looking for their first long-term position within a respected institute. If you can bring a dynamic energy coupled with strong written skills, and fresh ideas on how to improve WNTI’s comms, then this would be for you. You must be confident managing social media channels (particularly LinkedIn), and using WordPress and basic design tools, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deliver to deadlines.
