Central London (W1T) | Hybrid working (minimum 2 days in office) £29,000–£32,000 Full-time, permanent

We’re delighted to be working with the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) to recruit an Education Team Coordinator to join their friendly, high-performing Education team. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced coordinator or senior administrator who enjoys keeping things running smoothly, supporting others, and working in an organisation that genuinely improves education, professional standards and patient outcomes.

About the role

Reporting to the Education Manager, you’ll provide high-quality administrative and coordination support across BAD’s Education team and the British College of Dermatology (BCD). You’ll be at the heart of the team, coordinating meetings, supporting committees and working groups, managing enquiries, and helping deliver a busy programme of in-person and online education events. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, including Events, Clinical Standards, Research and Publishing, within a supportive charity of around 50 staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinating the administration of the Education department
  • Supporting committees and working groups (meetings, agendas, minutes, actions)
  • Managing databases and inboxes, responding to member and stakeholder enquiries
  • Coordinating monthly in-person and online education events (from planning to post-event admin)
  • Supporting budgets, invoices, expenses and event documentation
  • Providing wider administrative support to the team as needed
  • Offering occasional cover for reception and supporting health & safety responsibilities

About you

You’ll bring at least three years’ experience in a coordinator or senior administrative role and pride yourself on being organised, reliable and detail-focused. You’ll likely have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong proofreading and document-production ability
  • Experience coordinating meetings and/or events
  • Confidence juggling multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams; Dynamics 365 an advantage)
  • A collaborative, proactive approach and genuine interest in the health sector
  • Experience in a professional body, membership organisation, medical or academic environment would be welcomed but is not essential.

Why join BAD?

BAD offers an inclusive, supportive working environment and a fantastic benefits package, including:

  • 37 days’ annual leave (including bank holidays and your birthday off)
  • Access to a comprehensive wellbeing service
  • Life insurance and contributory pension scheme
  • Retail discounts and season ticket loan
  • Strong commitment to EDI, professional development and staff wellbeing

How to apply

Application deadline: 6 March 2026 (Please note: recruitment may close early if a suitable candidate is found.) Your CV (a cover letter will also be required). Please note: BAD does not hold a UK sponsorship licence — applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. The salary is fixed within an organisation-wide structure and is not negotiable. We look forward to receiving your application!
