The British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) is the UK’s leading professional body for dermatology, representing over 2,300 dermatologists in the UK and internationally. As a charity, we are dedicated to advancing dermatology, improving patient care, and supporting the professionals who treat skin disease.

We are seeking an experienced Digital Learning Designer to join their seven-strong Education team. Reporting to the Education Manager, you will play a key role in the ongoing development of the British College of Dermatology Education Hub, their Moodle Workplace platform launched in 2023. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality, engaging digital education for healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining and developing the Moodle Workplace learning platform, including upgrades and enhancements
  • Designing accessible, engaging digital learning programmes and pathways
  • Creating multimedia learning content using digital authoring tools
  • Filming, recording, editing, and post-producing video and audio content
  • Uploading, managing, and maintaining learning content on the platform
  • Providing technical support to online learning users and during online events
  • Supporting online events, including pre-recording speakers
  • Producing reports and data insights, including learner feedback and usage metrics
  • Ensuring equality, diversity and inclusion, sustainability, and patient voice are embedded within the digital learning offer
  • Managing and maintaining development software and equipment
About You
  • Proven experience designing and delivering digital learning across its full lifecycle
  • Strong technical and creative skills in digital authoring, video, and audio tools
  • Confident working independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and a high standard of written English
  • A collaborative, empathetic team member with a genuine interest in healthcare education
