The European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology (ESPE) is seeking a Research & Clinical Practice Manager to play a pivotal role in advancing research and improving clinical practice for children and young people with endocrine conditions across Europe and beyond.

Working closely with internationally recognised clinicians, researchers and volunteers, you'll lead ESPE's research, grants and awards portfolio while supporting the development of world-class clinical guidance and patient resources. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact within a respected international medical society.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead the operational delivery of ESPE's portfolio of research grants and prestigious awards.
  • Support the Science, Clinical Practice, Awards and Working Group Committees, helping to deliver their strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate the development of clinical practice guidelines, consensus statements and patient information resources.
  • Identify and monitor European research funding opportunities, helping to strengthen research collaboration across the specialty.
  • Build strong relationships with clinicians, researchers and partner organisations across Europe.

About you:

You'll have a PhD (or equivalent research background) in a biomedical, clinical or life sciences discipline, together with experience managing research programmes, grants or scientific initiatives. You'll be highly organised, confident working with senior academic and clinical stakeholders, and experienced in managing multiple complex projects.

Knowledge of European research funding programmes, committee management and working within a learned society, professional association or research environment would be highly advantageous.
