Our client is a respected UK professional membership body and learned society at an exciting point in its evolution. They are now seeking a collaborative and forward-thinking Head of Operations to join the Senior Management Team and help shape the next chapter of the organisation.
Supporting the Executive Director, you will provide operational leadership across membership services, governance, conferences and events, publications, and business operations, ensuring teams have the structure, support and systems they need to thrive.
This is a broad leadership role where success will come from enabling others, improving processes and embedding a culture that is member-focused, agile and open to change.
You'll play a key role in delivering a major CRM implementation, supporting governance modernisation, driving continuous improvement and identifying new opportunities to enhance member value and develop sustainable income streams.
You'll also oversee operational compliance, including data protection, while working closely with a range of outsourced service providers.
We're looking for someone who understands the unique challenges and opportunities of the professional membership, learned society, charity or not-for-profit sector.
You will have experience leading operational teams, managing organisational change and supporting colleagues through transformation with a positive, pragmatic and collaborative approach.
This is a hybrid role based in South Essex. Flexibility, generous pension contributions, free parking and excellent transport links are all offered.
