Director of Membership & Professional Services Permanent, Full-time Hybrid from London office (min. 2 days p/w) Salary: £75K – £80K Memcom Executive is thrilled to be supporting an international professional membership body and learned society with a significant global impact in raising professional standards and promoting environmental sustainability, in their search for a Director of Membership & Professional Services . With over 12,000 members spanning more than 100 countries, this esteemed organisation enjoys a strong international reputation and vital partnerships with academia, industry and regulators. Offering a comprehensive range of multidisciplinary membership grades and CPD recognition processes—including accreditation schemes and certification opportunities—this organisation is at the forefront of professional development. The Role As part of the Senior Management Team (SMT), you will lead a team of six, including three direct reports, in a strategic position that focuses on membership growth, engagement, and proposition development. Additionally, you will oversee the delivery of professional services, manage budgets for B2C Membership and B2B Accreditation, and lead professional registration initiatives. You will work closely with Councils and Committees, ensuring smooth governance processes, and spearhead efforts to expand corporate partnerships and enhance the portfolio of membership products and services, particularly those related to career development. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic plans to drive membership growth and engagement. Manage professional services delivery with a focus on excellence and innovation. Oversee budgets for membership and accreditation activities. Lead on professional registration and collaborate with Councils and Committees. Build and strengthen corporate partnerships.
