An exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to develop individual giving within a leading arts-based cultural institution. This is a fantastic opportunity for a fundraiser with experience across individual giving, major gifts, philanthropy or donor development to take ownership of a portfolio of supporters and help grow sustainable income.

Working closely with senior colleagues, supporters and influential advocates, you will build meaningful relationships and create compelling opportunities for individuals to engage with and support the organisation's work.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing and developing a portfolio of individual donors and prospects
  • Developing creative approaches to individual giving and supporter engagement
  • Cultivating, soliciting and stewarding donors to maximise income and long-term relationships
  • Developing compelling cases for support, proposals and communications
  • Creating engaging cultivation and stewardship opportunities, including events
  • Working closely with senior leaders and colleagues to identify and develop new prospects
  • Contributing to the wider fundraising strategy and helping to grow individual income

We're looking for an experienced fundraiser in individual giving, major gifts, philanthropy or development, perhaps within the arts, theatre, higher education, culture or another purpose-led organisation. Most importantly, you'll be confident engaging high-net worth supporters with warmth, confidence, discretion and authenticity, and excited by the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to an organisation with a strong creative and cultural purpose.
