Are you commercially minded, highly organised and passionate about delivering exceptional member experiences? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading UK membership organisation for a Commercial Events Executive to join their growing commercial team. This is a varied role combining event marketing, delegate sales, CRM management and member engagement. You'll play a key role in driving attendance and revenue across a portfolio of high-profile events while building strong relationships with members and industry stakeholders.

The Role

Working closely with the Events, Membership and Marketing teams, you'll take ownership of delegate sales campaigns, event promotion and attendee engagement across a busy annual events programme. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering marketing campaigns to maximise event attendance and revenue
  • Creating compelling email marketing content and promotional copy
  • Managing event sales pipelines and CRM data
  • Building target lists and identifying new delegate opportunities
  • Developing relationships with members, prospective attendees and industry stakeholders
  • Generating revenue through outbound engagement, calls, meetings and email campaigns
  • Monitoring sales performance and producing regular reports and insights
  • Managing bookings, registrations and event administration
  • Representing the organisation at events and networking opportunities

About You

We're looking for someone with a combination of commercial awareness, relationship-building skills and strong attention to detail. You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in event sales, membership engagement, commercial events or B2B marketing
  • Strong CRM and database management skills
  • Experience managing sales pipelines and reporting
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive, self-starting approach and a genuine interest in building relationships
