3 Days Central London Office, 2 Days Home Basic Salary £50,000-£55,000 + Excellent Benefits Permanent | Full Time

Our client, a leading and highly respected UK Trade Association, is seeking a Programme Manager – Events & Training to develop and deliver an engaging programme of events and learning that supports member engagement and adds real value.

This is far more than an events logistics role.

We're looking for someone who understands the marketing, media, advertising or creative industries and can curate relevant content, identify emerging trends, source influential speakers and continually evolve the programme to meet members' changing needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver an engaging programme of events and training for members.
  • Curate relevant themes, topics and content that reflect industry trends and member priorities.
  • Continually improve the events programme, reviewing formats, venues, speakers, timings and attendee experience.
  • Deliver a varied programme including roundtables, breakfast briefings, workshops, networking events, dinners and larger industry events.
  • Source and manage high-profile speakers, facilitators and training providers.
  • Build strong relationships with industry stakeholders, partners and members.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end delivery of events from planning through to evaluation.
  • Use member feedback and engagement data to shape future programmes and maximise value.
  • The Person

Essential

  • Experience delivering events, learning programmes or member engagement within the marketing, advertising, media, publishing, broadcasting or wider creative industries.
  • A strong understanding of the issues, trends and challenges affecting these sectors.
  • Experience curating event programmes, not simply organising events.
  • Proven ability to identify compelling content, secure high-quality speakers and create engaging member experiences.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and project management skills.
  • Creative, proactive and always looking for ways to improve programmes and increase member engagement.

Desirable

  • Experience working within a trade association, professional body or membership organisation.
  • Existing network across the marketing, advertising, media or creative sectors.
  • Experience using CRM and event management platforms.
