Working with organisations across a diverse professional sector, you'll identify new membership opportunities, nurture existing relationships and help deliver a programme of high‑quality events that strengthen engagement and support commercial growth.
The Role
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll proactively identify prospective members, build a healthy sales pipeline, promote the value of membership and support initiatives that drive both membership growth and commercial revenue. Alongside this, you'll help deliver a varied programme of events that encourage networking, knowledge sharing and member engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new membership opportunities through proactive business development.
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective members using CRM, LinkedIn and direct outreach.
- Arrange meetings with prospective members and senior decision‑makers.
- Promote the value of membership and convert enquiries into new members.
- Develop strong relationships with existing members to maximise retention and engagement.
- Identify opportunities to increase member participation across events, committees and networking activities.
- Support the development of sponsorship, partnership and commercial opportunities.
- Assist with generating revenue through events and commercial initiatives.
- Coordinate conferences, networking events, webinars and member forums.
- Liaise with speakers, sponsors, venues and suppliers to ensure successful event delivery.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and produce reports on membership activity and pipeline performance.
About You
You’ll bring:
- Experience in membership growth, business development, account management, sponsorship, partnerships or stakeholder engagement.
- A proven ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
- A proactive, target-focused and commercially aware approach.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
