This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced relationship manager to take ownership of a portfolio of strategic member organisations, helping to strengthen engagement, drive retention and ensure members maximise the value of their membership.

The Role

Reporting into the Director of Member Relations, you'll play a key role in developing long-term partnerships with senior stakeholders across the financial services industry.

Key responsibilities include

  • Managing a portfolio of strategically important member organisations.
  • Building trusted relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers.
  • Championing the member voice by gathering insight and influencing organisational priorities.
  • Identifying opportunities to broaden engagement across the organisation's products, services and activities.
  • Leading initiatives that enhance member satisfaction, retention and growth.
  • Preparing high-quality briefings for senior leadership.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across policy, commercial and operational teams.
  • Representing the organisation at member meetings, events and industry forums.

About You

To be successful, you'll bring

Essential experience working within the UK financial services sector , either for a financial services membership organisation, trade association, banking body, insurer, lender, payments organisation or similar.

  • A strong understanding of the financial services landscape and the challenges facing the industry.
  • Proven success managing and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Outstanding relationship management and communication skills.
  • Experience developing strategic partnerships and increasing member engagement.
  • The confidence to work across multiple teams and influence without direct authority.
  • A proactive, commercially aware approach with excellent organisational skills.
