About the Role
The successful candidate will lead a multi-disciplinary team responsible for strengthening relationships with major training partners, expanding market share, and enhancing the experience of members and students across the UK. Working as part of the senior leadership group, you will ensure that regional activity is aligned with the organisation’s wider strategy and that local insights meaningfully influence national priorities.
Key areas of focus include:
- Leading high-performing business development and key account teams to deliver ambitious growth targets.
- Developing a coordinated national approach to managing major training partners and strategic accounts.
- Strengthening regional member engagement through local networks, events, and community-building initiatives.
- Ensuring regional insights feed into policy development and organisational decision-making.
- Collaborating with colleagues across learning, technology, service delivery and international teams to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for members and students.
- Overseeing relationships with independent regional societies and volunteer networks.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a commercially minded, relationship-driven leader with a strong track record in B2B business development, account management or partnership growth—ideally within professional services, education, training, or a membership-based environment. You will bring:
- Extensive experience leading business development or client relationship teams across multiple regions.
- Proven success in driving market share growth and delivering exceptional client satisfaction.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
