About the Role

Our client, a professional membership organisation is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Membership Executive to join a busy membership team on a temporary basis for 6–8 weeks. This role sits within a fast-paced, call centre-style environment and requires someone who is comfortable handling a high volume of member enquiries while providing excellent customer service. Alongside membership administration, you will support members with event-related enquiries, registrations, and administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for member enquiries via telephone and email.
  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Respond to member and customer queries regarding events, cancellations/changes on bookings.
  • Update and maintain membership and event records within the CRM system.
  • Resolve enquiries and issues promptly, escalating where appropriate.
  • Support member engagement and retention activities.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while working to service standards and team targets.

About You

  • Previous experience within a membership, customer service, contact centre, or call centre environment.
  • Strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience dealing with event administration or event-related enquiries would be advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
  • A positive, flexible, and professional approach to customer service.
