About the Role: Trade Association is seeking a dynamic and visionary CEO to lead the association and drive its strategic direction. Reporting directly to the Board, the CEO will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing future strategies.
- Leading and mentoring a team of six staff members.
- Managing the annual budget of approximately £1.5 million.
- Expanding membership and championing the industry.
- Representing the organisation in the media and public forums.
- Navigating industry sustainability, circular economy, and regulatory changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance to internal working groups and Board sub-groups.
- Propose and manage the annual financial budget.
- Lead strategic initiatives and operational measures.
- Act as a spokesperson for the industry.
- Implement new strategies in response to changing environments.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in leading non-profit associations.
- Knowledge of the manufacturing or packaging sector and public policy.
