Our client is a respected membership organisation representing a major UK industrial sector. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced data and insights professional to take ownership of a long-established statistics and business intelligence function following the retirement of a long-serving incumbent. This role offers a unique combination of operational responsibility, analytical leadership and transformation. Working closely with the outgoing postholder during a structured handover period, you will play a critical role in preserving organisational knowledge whilst helping modernise data collection, reporting and business intelligence processes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing industry surveys and data collection programmes.
- Producing statistical reports and analytical insights.
- Developing a comprehensive operating manual covering all statistical and survey processes.
- Maintaining relationships with member organisations.
- Reviewing and improving legacy systems and reporting processes.
- Supporting the development of future business intelligence capability.
We are seeking candidates with:
- Experience in statistics, data analysis, business intelligence, market intelligence or research environments.
- Experience with survey management, reporting, stakeholder engagement and process improvement is essential.
- Knowledge of modern survey tools, Power BI is required and experience with legacy database environments such as Microsoft Access would be particularly beneficial.
