Our client, a well-established International Chamber of Commerce, is looking for an Executive Administration Officer to become the operational backbone of the organisation. Working closely with the Chairman and wider team, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting governance, member engagement, communications, events and the smooth day-to-day running of the Chamber.
Representing a vibrant international business community, the Chamber provides networking opportunities, business support, thought leadership and events that help members build valuable commercial relationships both in the UK and internationally. The Role
As Executive Administration Officer, you'll enjoy a broad and varied remit, including:
- Providing executive support to senior leadership
- Coordinating Board and committee meetings, including agendas, papers and minutes
- Supporting member engagement activities and communications
- Organising meetings with members, partners and prospective members
- Assisting with networking events, business forums and flagship events
- Maintaining accurate membership and stakeholder databases
- Supporting financial administration, invoicing and supplier management
- Coordinating office operations and external service providers
- Preparing reports, presentations and meeting papers
- Providing administrative support across a range of organisational projects and initiatives
- Attending events and providing on-site support where required
About You
You'll be an organised, proactive administrator who enjoys building relationships and taking ownership. You'll be equally comfortable supporting senior leaders, engaging with members and helping deliver high-quality events.
You'll ideally bring:
- Experience within a Chamber of Commerce, membership organisation, trade association, business network or professional body
- Excellent organisational and administration skills
- Experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills
- Experience coordinating meetings and events
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- A proactive, flexible and hands-on approach
