We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading UK professional membership organisation seeking an experienced Director of Membership to drive membership growth, strengthen member engagement, develop strategic partnerships and lead high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the organisation’s membership growth and engagement strategy.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth across membership, partnerships, training and related services.
- Develop and enhance compelling member value propositions.
- Identify new opportunities to grow membership, engagement and income.
- Lead, inspire and develop multidisciplinary teams.
- Use member insight, CRM and data to improve acquisition, engagement, retention and cross-selling.
- Oversee membership performance, pricing and associated commercial outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with members, stakeholders and strategic partners.
- Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to shape the organisation’s future strategy.

- Senior leadership experience within membership, commercial or business development functions.
- A strong track record of driving membership growth, engagement and retention.
- Experience within a membership organisation, professional body, trade association or B2B environment.
- Strong experience in partnerships, business development and revenue generation.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial awareness, strategic thinking and financial acumen.
