A respected professional membership organisation is seeking a proactive and organised Training Administrator to join their professional development team. This home-based role offers the opportunity to work with volunteers, trainers, and members across the UK to deliver a high-quality programme of training and development activities, both online and in person.

The Role of Training Administrator

You will play a key role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of a varied programme of professional development activities, including training courses, workshops, webinars, and mentoring initiatives. Working closely with volunteer trainers, working groups, and internal colleagues, you will ensure events are delivered to a consistently high standard while providing excellent support to delegates and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule a programme of online and face-to-face training and development events throughout the year.
  • Source and book suitable venues across the UK for training activities.
  • Provide administrative and technical support for online and in-person events.
  • Support trainers and presenters before, during, and after events.
  • Manage delegate bookings and act as the first point of contact for attendee enquiries.
  • Create and coordinate marketing materials to promote training activities and maximise attendance.
  • Maintain records of trainers and support the recruitment and onboarding of new trainers.
  • Coordinate trainer development initiatives and support continuous improvement activities.
  • Manage recorded learning content, including publication and promotion through digital channels.
  • Gather, analyse, and report on delegate feedback to improve future activities.
  • Support volunteer working groups, including arranging meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within organisational systems.
  • Contribute to professional development projects and organisational initiatives as required.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating events, training programmes, or learning activities.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with volunteers, members, trainers, or external stakeholders.
