A leading UK membership body is seeking an Event Officer to support a wide network of professionals and organisations through a programme of high-quality events, conferences, and exhibitions. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a junior events professional looking to develop their career within a membership organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Event delivery and coordination
  • Support the planning and delivery of exhibitions, conferences, awards, and regional events
  • Act as a key point of contact for exhibitors, delegates, and suppliers
  • Coordinate speakers, programmes, logistics, and event materials
  • Provide on-site support, ensuring events run smoothly and professionally

Stakeholder and supplier management:

  • Build effective relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders
  • Support sponsor and exhibitor engagement to ensure a high-quality experience
  • Work with marketing teams to support event promotion and communications

Administration and reporting:

  • Maintain accurate event data and support CRM processes
  • Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and reporting
  • Contribute to post-event evaluation and continuous improvement

About you:

  • Experience in events, administration, or a customer-facing role (or relevant qualification)
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with a desire to learn
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car
