A leading UK membership body is seeking an Event Officer to support a wide network of professionals and organisations through a programme of high-quality events, conferences, and exhibitions.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a junior events professional looking to develop their career within a membership organisation, gaining hands-on experience across a varied and high-profile events portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of exhibitions, conferences, awards, and regional events
  • Coordinating speakers, programmes, logistics, and event materials
  • Providing on-site support to ensure events run smoothly and professionally
  • Supporting sponsor and exhibitor engagement to ensure a high-quality experience
  • Working with marketing teams to support event promotion and communications
  • Maintaining accurate event data and supporting CRM processes
  • Contributing to post-event evaluation and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Experience in events, administration, or a customer-facing role (or relevant qualification)
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car
