This is a home‑based role, requiring travel to London once per month for Staff Day, plus occasional UK travel. All travel expenses are covered. Salary £35,000–£40,000 depending on experience with excellent benefits including 25 days holiday (plus statutory/public holiday days), home worker contract, Pension scheme, Private health cover for the employee, Life insurance, Non contractual annual performance bonus which pays up to 10% of gross pay.
Our client, a well‑respected and reputable trade association – membership body, is seeking a Marketing Executive to lead and develop its digital marketing and online communications activity. This is a key role within a small, collaborative team, responsible for driving engagement with members, stakeholders and consumers, promoting events and campaigns, and strengthening the organisation’s digital presence across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage digital marketing activity across website, email and social media platforms.
- Plan, create and deliver engaging content aligned with organisational objectives.
- Grow and manage social media presence using organic and paid activity.
- Manage website content, SEO and user experience.
- Deliver digital campaigns to promote membership, events and initiatives.
- Support the promotion and delivery of in‑person and virtual events.
- Analyse performance across all channels and report on key metrics.
- Work with external agencies and suppliers where required.
- Act as a professional point of contact for digital enquiries.
The Person:
- Minimum three years’ experience in a digital marketing or communications role.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing across B2B and B2C environments.
- Excellent written communication and content creation skills.
- Hands‑on experience managing social media platforms and campaigns.
- Working knowledge of SEO, analytics and website CMS (e.g. WordPress).
- Confident user of Microsoft 365 and digital content tools.
- Able to work independently in a home‑based role.
- Willing to travel to London and support events as required.
- Experience within a membership organisation, trade body or similar.
- Experience using CRM systems.
- Event marketing and campaign management experience.
