The Opportunity
- Working closely with senior leadership across commercial and events teams, you will play a key role in developing and executing sponsorship strategies that drive revenue growth and deliver value for industry partners.
- You will lead the full sponsorship lifecycle, from identifying opportunities and building compelling sponsorship propositions through to closing deals and delivering successful partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sponsorship revenue across a portfolio of flagship industry events.
- Identify and secure new commercial partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
- Develop innovative sponsorship packages aligned with industry trends and member interests.
- Work closely with senior leadership to meet and exceed commercial revenue targets.
- Build long-term relationships with sponsors and strategic partners.
- Lead the end-to-end sponsorship process including pitching, negotiation and contract fulfilment.
- Work collaboratively with events and marketing teams to maximise commercial opportunities.
- Represent the organisation at industry events and networking opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a commercially astute and relationship-driven sponsorship professional who thrives in a target-driven environment. You will bring:
- 6–8 years’ experience in sponsorship sales, partnerships or commercial business development.
- A strong track record of winning sponsorship revenue and delivering commercial growth.
- Experience working with events, conferences or industry programmes.
- Excellent negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and commercial decision-makers.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and strong commercial acumen.
- Experience using CRM systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics).
- Experience within financial services, private capital, professional services or membership organisations would be highly advantageous.
