We’re working with a reputable regulatory legal membership organisation to find a skilled Public Relations Officer to join their busy media, campaigns and comms team of 4.

This role is perfect for someone with a journalism, newsroom, media, or legal communications background who enjoys writing clear, engaging content for a professional audience.

You’ll produce content across press releases, blogs, reports, newsletters, and social media, helping to communicate the voice of barristers and the wider legal community. You’ll also support media engagement, respond to enquiries, and help deliver campaigns and events.

You’ll need excellent writing and editing skills, confidence in dealing with the press, journalists and stakeholders, and the ability to translate complex legal issues into accessible language.

The total salary is £37,909 (this includes £1,000 for doing some out of hours media calls/emails - weekday evenings and weekends - there is a 4 staff on the rota for this work so would be around once a month).
