Part-time | 3–4 days per week | Interim contract
Our client, a national membership organisation, is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner / HR Change Lead to support a significant organisational change project linked to a major service contract. This interim role will lead the HR workstream relating to a potential TUPE transfer scenario, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and supporting a well-managed transition for employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on ensuring compliance with TUPE regulations and associated employment law requirements.
- Prepare and manage HR planning for both potential scenarios: employee transfer into the organisation or transfer out to a new provider.
- Manage the information and consultation process with affected employees and representatives.
- Oversee consultation and implementation of any organisational measures arising from the transfer.
- Collate and review Employee Liability Information (ELI), identifying potential risks and advising senior management.
- Lead any required reorganisation or redundancy processes aligned with ETO reasons.
- Manage associated employee relations casework to support a smooth transition.
- Coordinate alignment of payroll, benefits, and HR systems where employee transfers occur.
About You
You will be an experienced HR professional with experience leading organisational change projects. You will bring:
- Strong practical knowledge of employment law relating to organisational change, including TUPE and collective redundancy requirements.
- Experience managing TUPE transfers both into and out of organisations.
- Experience handling complex employee relations matters, including restructures and redundancies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage sensitive change programmes.
Contract: Interim (6–9 months)
Start: April 2026
Additional HR work may be available if a full-time appointment is preferred. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to lead a focused organisational change project within a collaborative and purpose-led environment.
