Membership Bespoke is recruiting on behalf of a leading professional membership organisation for an experienced Senior Membership Executive to join their membership team on a 3-month temporary contract, starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced membership professional who enjoys delivering an outstanding member experience, supporting engagement and retention initiatives, and acting as a senior point of contact for member enquiries.
About the Role
Working within a busy membership team, you will play a key role in supporting member acquisition, engagement and retention activities while ensuring a seamless member journey across multiple touchpoints. You will act as an escalation point for complex membership queries, support membership campaigns, maintain accurate member records and help deliver a high-quality service to members and prospective members alike. The role also includes supporting membership-related events, digital platforms and internal processes, whilst providing guidance and support to colleagues within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing complex membership enquiries and acting as a senior escalation point
- Supporting member engagement, retention and acquisition initiatives
- Monitoring member activity and identifying opportunities to improve retention
- Processing membership payments and supporting renewal activity
- Maintaining accurate membership and payment records within the CRM
- Supporting onboarding and ongoing engagement through digital membership platforms
- Assisting with membership events and helping maximise member participation
- Producing reports, insights and recommendations to support decision making
- Supporting colleagues with training, guidance and technical troubleshooting
- Ensuring processes and member data are maintained in line with best practice and GDPR requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience working within a membership organisation
- Strong customer service experience within a high-volume environment
- Experience using CRM systems and managing member data
- Knowledge of membership renewals, payments and reconciliations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting colleagues, mentoring team members or acting as an escalation point

- Experience working with volunteers, networks or professional communities
- Exposure to membership engagement campaigns and member events
