Temporary L & D Specialist

ASAP - 6 months, 3 to 5 days per week options available

Home-based (UK)

£22 - £30 per hour

An established membership organisation has recently built a new library of online training modules using in-house capability. They are now seeking hands-on, practical support to take this offer to the next stage of development.

This role is focused on delivery. You will work directly with existing materials to refine, customise and expand the organisation’s online learning offer, ensuring it is consistent, professional and clearly branded.

The assignment will involve:

  • Customising existing online training modules for member organisations
  • Developing a small number of new, generic courses (for example, health and safety)
  • Improving the overall consistency, design and branding of the online learning library

You will be actively designing, building and refining digital learning content, working closely with internal stakeholders.

Key requirements:

  • Proven experience designing and developing online learning modules
  • Strong practical experience using learning management systems and online learning platforms
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to turn technical content into clear, engaging learning materials
  • Experience in learning & development or digital learning delivery
  • Ability to work independently and deliver to agreed timelines

Desirable experience:

  • Experience within financial services, consumer credit or other regulated environments
  • Background working with trade associations or membership bodies
  • Experience helping to develop or scale a learning and development or training function

Outcomes:

By the end of the assignment, the organisation will have a coherent, consistently branded library of online learning modules, with tailored content ready for members and new generic courses developed to strengthen its training academy.
