About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced data and insights professional to take ownership of a long-established statistics and business intelligence function following the retirement of a long-serving incumbent. This role offers a unique combination of operational responsibility, analytical leadership and transformation. Working closely with the outgoing postholder during a structured handover period, you will play a critical role in preserving organisational knowledge whilst helping modernise data collection, reporting and business intelligence processes.

Responsibilities

  • Managing industry surveys and data collection programmes.
  • Producing statistical reports and analytical insights.
  • Developing a comprehensive operating manual covering all statistical and survey processes.
  • Maintaining relationships with member organisations.
  • Reviewing and improving legacy systems and reporting processes.
  • Supporting the development of future business intelligence capability.

Qualifications

Experience in statistics, data analysis, business intelligence, market intelligence or research environments.

Required Skills

  • Experience with survey management, reporting, stakeholder engagement and process improvement is essential.
  • Knowledge of modern survey tools, Power BI is required.
  • Experience with legacy database environments such as Microsoft Access would be particularly beneficial.

Pay range and compensation package
