About the Company
My client, the charitable foundation arm of a reputable, global professional body, is currently seeking an Interim Foundation Director. This is a crucial role that supports the infrastructure and operational capability required to oversee the Foundation’s work, and to deliver impact on a global scale.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of the core activities of the Foundation including operations, administration, customer service, communications, and marketing working closely with the Chair and Trustees.
- Managing existing funding relationships and supporting Trustees with fundraising approaches.
- Supporting Trustees at quarterly board meetings, working with Company Secretary, and supporting Trustees with transition to new Strategy & Business Plan, currently being finalised to start in July 2025, including recruitment, liaison with professional body teams and preparation for new activity.
- Event Management for an event taking place in March 2025.
- Pulling together the Impact Report, a work in progress.
- Grant management working with professional body teams to administer and process grants, with management of applicant enquiries and relationships.
- Monitoring progress against the Foundation’s business plan, working closely with the Foundation’s Chair and Grant Committees to track outcomes from grant activities e.g. charitable spend, beneficiary impact and geographical reach and maintaining relationships with charity partners.
- Comms and marketing to increase overall awareness of the Foundation among target audiences in the UK and internationally (supporters and potential grantees) day to day management of LinkedIn, monthly email newsletter and working with external designers to produce marketing materials (creative / design ability on a platform such as Canva is a bonus). Working with professional body teams to identify and maximise marketing opportunities.
