We\'re looking for an experienced External Communications Manager to lead media relations and external communications for a leading financial services organisation.
We\'re particularly interested in candidates with 5+ years\' experience, ideally from a PR or communications agency managing financial services clients, or those with comparable in-house financial services communications experience.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver proactive external communications and media strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with national, trade and broadcast media.
- Manage press enquiries, reputation issues and reactive communications.
- Create compelling press releases, thought leadership and campaign content.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to enhance the organisation\'s profile.
What we\'re looking for
- At least 5 years\' experience in external communications or media relations.
- Agency background highly desirable, particularly within financial services.
- Strong media contacts and a proven track record of securing high-quality coverage.
- Excellent writing, stakeholder management and strategic communications skills.
- Experience managing corporate reputation and delivering integrated communications campaigns.
