About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced data and insights professional to take ownership of a long-established statistics and business intelligence function following the retirement of a long-serving incumbent.
This role offers a unique combination of operational responsibility, analytical leadership and transformation.
Responsibilities
- Managing industry surveys and data collection programmes.
- Rationalising datasets.
- Producing statistical reports and analytical insights.
- Developing a comprehensive operating manual covering all statistical and survey processes.
- Maintaining relationships with member organisations.
- Reviewing and modernising legacy systems and reporting processes.
- Overseeing transition to new software.
- Supporting the development of future business intelligence capability.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates with experience in statistics, data analysis, business intelligence, market intelligence or research environments.
- Required Skills
- Experience with survey management, reporting, stakeholder engagement and process improvement is essential.
- Knowledge of modern survey tools, Power BI is required.
- Experience with legacy database environments such as Microsoft Access would be particularly beneficial.
