Events Coordinator
Membership Organisation
Central London £30,000 plus benefits including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

My client, a well-regarded and influential trade association is currently looking for an Events Coordinator. If you have previous Events experience working for a trade association, professional body or similar membership based organisation we would love to hear from you.
The right candidate will be very organised and capable of dealing efficiently with any issues that may arise. You will be confident, have the ability to prioritise a full workload, project a professional image and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities- Planning and delivering the meetings and events schedule for the year, including member-wide forums, roundtables and networking events
- Organising all aspects of in person, hybrid and virtual meetings and events from start to finish in accordance with the agreed timeline
- Confirming attendance of members and stakeholders and liaising with speakers and sponsors
- Attending meetings and/or providing support to ensure the smooth running of meetings on the day, including managing online meeting platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom
- Preparing and distributing meeting materials in a timely manner with attention to house style
- Coordinating follow-up actions, including preparing and distributing meeting notes
- Sourcing and liaising with venues and suppliers for events, including set up, AV requirements and catering
- Working with the Communications Coordinator to promote meetings and events via member updates and social media
- Collating feedback from attendees to identify areas for improvement
- Maintaining and updating information on the CRM system, ensuring it is accurate and up to date
- Dealing with enquiries from members and stakeholders
- Undertaking other tasks as reasonably requested to contribute to the overall success of the organisation.
