Governance & Company Secretary Manager
£50k–£65k (you will be paid on an hourly rate equivalent) | Manager/Senior Officer | Full-time
This temporary role is to start in July and is expected to be no less than four to six months.
A professional body seeks an experienced governance specialist to lead core governance operations and support its Board, Committees and senior stakeholders.
Key focus areas
- Board, Committee and group entity administration (papers, minutes, actions).
- Advising senior leaders on governance, constitutional and regulatory matters.
- Coordinating Governance Team workload and implementing review recommendations.
- Supporting elections and appointments for Officers and governance roles.
- AGM and Annual Report governance support.
- Charity Commission filings, serious incident reporting and register maintenance.
- Privy Council submissions and constitutional record-keeping.
