Our client, a well-established and highly reputable business membership organisation based in Central London is currently looking for a Marketing Communications Manager. If you are an experienced Marketing Communications Manager with a proven track record of delivering successful multi-channel marketing campaigns within a membership body, trade association, professional body, not-for-profit, charity, corporate or B2B organisation, we would love to hear from you.

The Marketing Communications Manager will play a critical role in developing and implementing an integrated marketing strategy and plan to support the organisations objectives. Working closely with colleagues across the business, this role will focus on member recruitment, retention and engagement, brand awareness and promotion of events, training and support programmes.

  • Create and implement an integrated marketing strategy and plan which supports delivery of the organisations objectives.
  • Work collaboratively across all departments to deliver targeted campaigns that increase awareness of the organisations value, promote services and events, and ensure the membership offer is effectively communicated to current and potential members, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Develop, manage, and deliver an integrated marketing strategy and plan aligned to organisational objectives.
  • Lead the creation of a prioritised 12-month rolling marketing schedule.
  • Plan and manage budgetary resources assigned to the Marketing Team to maximise impact and efficiency.
  • Undertake research and analysis to provide insight on current and potential members to inform key audience prioritisation.
  • Leverage content (reports, research, webinars, speakers) in collaboration with other teams to increase brand visibility and awareness.
  • Work with the Membership Team to attract new members and support renewals through tailored and segmented communications.
  • Ensure a consistent brand identity, messaging and tone across all marketing materials and channels.
  • Manage and optimise the organisations website, email marketing, automation, CRM integration, and digital campaigns.
  • Monitor and evaluate marketing performance, producing regular dashboards and reports for senior leadership and council/board.
  • Introduce innovation and best practice into marketing planning and delivery, including use of new media channels and formats.
  • Provide line management, guidance, and development for the Marketing Executive.
  • Manage external agencies, freelancers and suppliers effectively to deliver high quality outcomes.
