A professional membership organisation is seeking a Training & Events Coordinator to support the delivery of a busy and varied programme of training courses and events for its members. This is a hands-on coordination role suited to someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and a customer-focused approach. Working as part of a small, collaborative team, the role supports the smooth operational delivery of training and events delivered online, in person and in hybrid formats.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of training courses, predominantly delivered online
- Supporting the planning and operational delivery of events, including online, hybrid and in-person formats
- Managing event administration, including bookings, registrations, databases and delegate communications
- Acting as a key point of contact for members, trainers and speakers, responding to enquiries professionally and efficiently
- Setting up and supporting online training sessions and events, including troubleshooting during live delivery
- Liaising with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure venues, AV and logistics are delivered as required
- Maintaining accurate records, invoices and purchase orders linked to training and events activity
- Supporting larger, flagship events as part of a cross-functional team
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall training and events experience
The successful candidate will have previous experience in administration, events, training or a membership-based environment. You will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, confident using IT systems and online event platforms, and able to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior professionals.
