Education Officer

Our client, a respected professional membership body, is looking to appoint an Education Officer to join their Assessment team on a fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced operations professionals who thrive in highly regulated, process-driven environments where accuracy, stakeholder management and exceptional customer service are paramount.
Working within a collaborative assessment team, you will play a key role in ensuring examinations and assessment processes are delivered accurately, fairly and on time, supporting thousands of learners and maintaining the integrity of a prestigious professional qualification.
Experience within a professional membership organisation, awarding body, higher education institution or regulated environment is essential
Key responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple professional assessments and examination processes.
- Configure and maintain assessment databases, exam platforms and marking systems.
- Coordinate with examiners, external suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure critical deadlines are met.
- Support the delivery of live examinations, providing second-line guidance on complex candidate and assessment queries.
- Analyse marking data, identify anomalies and ensure results are accurate before publication.
- Prepare reports, statistics and documentation for examination boards and panel meetings.
- Support candidates requiring reasonable adjustments, ensuring compliance with equality legislation and fair assessment practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of assessment systems, processes and operational procedures.
- Participate in system testing and development to support future assessment delivery.
