My client, a leading UK trade association, is recruiting for a Head of Learning and Development.

The Role

This is a senior leadership role responsible for leading, transforming and commercially growing the organisation's Learning and Development provision. You will take ownership of the full training and qualifications portfolio, ensuring it is high-quality, compliant, commercially sustainable and responsive to the needs of members and the wider sector. The successful candidate will combine a strong regulatory background with a proven track record of driving profitable growth across Learning and Development products and services. A major focus will be identifying, launching and growing new products and services, including bespoke Learning and Development and consultancy solutions for organisations. You will also lead transformation across people, processes, systems and ways of working, creating a more commercially focused, efficient and scalable Learning and Development function. Reporting to the Director of Membership, you will lead the Quality Assurance Manager, E-Learning Manager and Learning and Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the organisation's Learning and Development strategy and portfolio.
  • Drive profitable and sustainable growth, increasing revenue, improving margins and identifying new commercial opportunities.
  • Develop and launch new learning products, services and consultancy solutions.
  • Ensure the portfolio responds to member needs, market demand and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead transformation across people, processes, systems and ways of working.
  • Oversee digital, blended and face-to-face learning.
