We are looking for a Vehicle Panel Beater for our busy client in Kingsnorth site. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who has previous experience in a similar role and is looking for a new, exciting challenge.
Salary: £25.00
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 6.30 am - 4.30 pm
Main purpose of the job: Within this role, you will be working as a part of an experienced bodyshop team, ensuring our vehicles are finished to the highest standard for our customers, under the support and guidance of the supervisor and Bodyshop Manager.
Main responsibilities:
- Stripping and fitting panels
- Pulling out dents with aid of pin puller, slide hammers, miracle pulled, jig and panel beating hammers
- Welding and bonding of vehicle structure
- Completing minor and major filler work on the panels
- Ensuring that there are no defects on the prepared panels
- Carrying out repairs to restore vehicles to their original condition in line with approved methods
- Supporting bodyshop team within other departments if required
- Training bodyshop trainee staff
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Bodyshop Technician / Panel Beater
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Willing to support junior techs and offer support/expertise when needed.
