MEM Northampton is recruiting a Counterbalance & Reach Truck and PPT Driver to join our team(s) based in Kettering, NN14, Northamptonshire.

Duties Include:

  • Full accountability for customer goods when putting away or bringing down from locations.
  • Direct responsibility for ensuring that the reach truck is kept in a pristine condition and any defects are reported straight away.
  • H & S conscious.
  • To be proactive if any problems arise whilst picking or putting away.
  • Housekeeping as per rota.
  • Ability to move and organise oversized and high value goods.
  • Ensuring all consignments are placed in the correct locations.
  • Any other tasks as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have valid licence for the below trucks: ITTSAR OR RTITB - reach truck, d2 - counterbalance, ppt.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace.
  • Be reliable and punctual.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Experience putting away or retrieving heavy & high value goods.
  • Manual handling skills.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 06:00-14:30 or 14:00 - 22:30.

Salary: £14.20 per hour.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time.

Benefits: Company pension, On-site parking.

Ability to commute/relocate: Kettering, Northamptonshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).

Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required).

Work Location: In person.
