We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our clients Mobile Repair Network team within Corby, NN18. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing expert advice on vehicle repairs and maintenance, scheduling appointments, and ensuring excellent service delivery.

Duties

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls from customers reporting vehicle concerns.
  • Clearly communicate next steps while setting accurate and realistic customer expectations.
  • Arrange mobile repair appointments based on technician availability and customer location.
  • Work closely with the Mobile Repair Team to ensure seamless job handovers.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of diagnostics, conversations, and customer actions.
  • Review reported faults and proposed work to ensure all repairs are appropriate, authorised, and fall within warranty or agreed claim guidelines.
  • Complete and maintain all associated administrative tasks to support claim approval, repair progression, and audit requirements.
  • Monitor claim status and follow up where required to ensure work is completed within agreed service levels.
  • Support upset or dissatisfied customers with patience, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Provide insight and feedback from customer interactions to support ongoing improvement.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a service advisor or customer facing automotive role (essential).
  • Good technical understanding of vehicle systems and basic diagnostics.
  • Excellent communication, questioning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stay calm, composed, and professional under pressure.
  • Strong organisational skills and confidence using booking or case management systems.
  • A customer first mindset and genuine commitment to delivering outstanding service.

Shift Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00

Pay: £30,000 per annum (£14.42 per hour)
