Electrician

MEM Recruitment is hiring a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team on a new build housing site. You will be responsible for the full electrical installation, including wiring, socket and lighting installation, consumer unit setup, and testing to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• First and second fix electrical installations in new build homes
• Wiring, fitting sockets, lighting, and consumer units
• Ensuring all work meets current electrical regulations
• Fault finding and troubleshooting electrical issues
• Working safely and efficiently on-site

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
• ECS/CSCS card (preferred)
• Experience working on new build housing projects
• Own tools and PPE
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Location: Main Street, Scropton, Derby
Hours: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Rate: £165 – £220 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
