The People Operations Specialist will be part of the EMEA People Operations team, directly reporting to the People Operations Team Lead. This position will provide critical HR services to managers and employees in EMEA. The ideal candidate will be based in our London office and be fluent in English, French (German nice to have). We are looking for this role to predominantly manage our French and German regions, along with other EMEA locations. This role will make a significant impact by efficiently supporting onboarding, off-boarding, Workday employee transactions, Employee life cycle changes, New Hire orientations, Benefits administration, and more. This person must thrive in a fast-paced, high-engagement environment and possess an extraordinary desire to innovate even the most basic transactional aspects of HR. This role will be on the front line working closely with employees, managers, and other HR team members. This person must be comfortable and experienced working with geographically distributed teams in providing top-notch HR services.
What You'll Do:
- Manage people operation tasks (new hire orientation, benefits administration, HRIS support, admin support)
- Administer background check process and manage onboarding process for all new hires.
- Processing salary increases, promotions, employee transfers, job changes, bonuses, relocations, and ensuring accuracy in Workday.
- Manage benefits and provide stellar service to employees with benefit questions including, time off requests, policies, benefits, forms, records, and practices; provide timely resolution of all employee issues.
- Be the contact person for benefit vendors and drive key programs related to company benefits.
- Day-to-day benefits administration and manage and process Benefit Invoices.
- Work closely with the Benefit broker to answer employee questions.
- Medical benefits renewal and employee enrollment for multiple countries.
- Drive immigration administration processes in close collaboration with People business partners and managers.
- Provide contractor agreements and on-board contractors; and manage contract renewals.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies/procedures.
- Manage relationships with outsourced partners in EMEA.
- Significant hands-on transaction processing (new hires, exits, compensation changes, immigration).
- Partner with the People Team on priority projects and other day-to-day administrative functions.
- Lead some People Operations projects to improve our processes and service to employees.
- Work closely with Payroll to ensure correct and on time payment of salary and bonuses.
What You'll Bring:
- From 1 to 5 years of experience in a People Operations role in a fast-paced environment.
- BS or BA in Human Resources preferred.
- Prior experience with Workday as a HR user is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Able to design useful Excel reports and have good analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in professional English and French.
- German language skills are a strong advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail.
