We are in search of a talented and strategic Sr People Business Partner (Sr PBP) to join our esteemed global People Business Partner organization, with a primary focus on supporting our leaders in the Nordic and Benelux/UK regions. The ideal PBP will excel both at hands-on execution and strategic planning, striving to cultivate an exceptional experience for all Meltwater employees and leaders.

The primary objective will be to craft a People Strategy that prioritises scalability, proactive advisory services, and seamless alignment with the business objectives specific to the European region. The successful candidate should embody exceptional HR Business Partnering skills, characterised by strong interpersonal abilities, sharp business acumen, and an extensive understanding of diverse HR functions. These encompass employee relations, employment law, organisational development, change management, training, talent management, manager coaching and performance evaluation. Previous exposure to areas such as benefits, compensation, staffing, and recruitment will be advantageous.

Success in this role hinges on quickly establishing credibility as a trusted business partner capable of delivering exceptional HR services and forging strong alliances with the Management Team and employees.   • Serve as the primary support and strategic counterpart to the PBP EMEA Manager.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders across the UK, Nordics and Benelux, to drive an effective people strategy and ensure the implementation of innovative HR solutions.
  • Own the people strategy for your region, working closely with sales leadership to ensure HR delivery aligns with commercial goals and supports Meltwater's growth.
  • Support compensation and performance cycle activity across your region, including performance cycle administration and management.
  • Support and guide managers through the full spectrum of employee relations matters, performance improvement, disciplinary processes, redundancies, exits and complex employment situations with a thorough understanding of UK, Nordic and Benelux employment law.
  • Drive talent and performance programmes across the region, including HiPo identification, succession planning, employee engagement surveys and stay interviews coaching managers.
  • Partner with People Operations on policies affecting your region, including family leave, visa and immigration support, and any country specific compliance requirements across UK, Nordics & Benelux.
  • Localise people programmes, including wellness, DEI, CSR, hybrid working and employee engagement, ensuring global initiatives land in a way that is relevant and credible.
  • Be a confident, capable voice in conversations where the business needs a different perspective; this is a role that requires the ability to challenge constructively.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4 - 6 years of HR experience, ideally in high-tech sectors and focusing on UK, Nordics and Benelux preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS, preferably Workday.
  • Genuine interest in Meltwater's business and the ability to effectively communicate its value proposition to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to navigate effectively in a global company, demonstrating agility in a fast-moving environment, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish is mandatory; Dutch is highly desirable; additional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to embrace the best of both worlds with our hybrid work schedule. This role requires you to be in the office 2 days a week. Travel may be required to European countries.
