We are looking for a passionate AI Engineer specialising in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML) to contribute to Data Enrichment efforts within Meltwater.

As a part of this role, you will work with experienced team members and product managers to design, test, and implement machine learning solutions.

Through Meltwater's innovative social listening platform, we ensure our clients never miss any mention of their brand or essential topics across various platforms, automating the entire social listening process.

What You’ll Do

  • Contribute to the development of scalable algorithms for processing large datasets, implement and evaluate machine learning and deep learning algorithms for Natural Language Processing/Understanding .
  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of ML models and pipelines for real-time processing of unstructured data.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to analyze the impact of algorithm changes.
  • Learn and grow under mentorship, gaining exposure to industry-standard NLP tools and techniques.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 3 years working experience OR a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 1 years working experience.
  • Programming Language: Proficiency in Python.
  • Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Proficient in Machine Learning, with a solid understanding of neural networks and the Transformer architecture.
  • Familiar with foundational NLP tasks such as tokenization, Named Entity Recognition, and sentiment analysis.
  • Experience with modern approaches built on pretrained language models - fine-tuning and transfer learning, text and token classification.
  • Working knowledge of large language models, including prompting and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
  • Experience or coursework in Deep Learning frameworks like Py Torch or Tensor Flow.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a curiosity for learning new technologies.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e. g., Azure (preferable), AWS, or Google Cloud).
  • Basic knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Interest in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
  • Passion for exploring the intersection of NLP and emerging fields such as generative AI or multimodal systems.
